Hello and welcome to my little art cave.
I'm Nixenwolf and I just love being creative.
One of my great passions is painting and drawing.
Among many other techniques, I prefer to work with watercolours.
I am fascinated by the fact that I can mix almost any colour using only a very small selection of colours.
It all starts with a blank sheet of paper and an idea in my head, which I gradually transfer onto paper.
For the finishing touches, I use special metallic watercolours, which give the picture the right amount of depth.
The subjects of my paintings vary greatly.
From my own creations to fan art of well-known (and unknown ;-)) series and films, etc., there is a lot to see.
I do what makes me happy, and I think everyone should follow this approach.
Art Commission 2025 - Splatoon: Inklings on the Beach
Since attending GalaCon Waiblingen in 2024 (an event for fans of the series ‘My Little Pony’), I have been having great fun immersing myself in this genre and creating new art.
I was already familiar with the series before that, but this pony convention rekindled my enthusiasm for it.
Another great passion of mine is my books, which I write and illustrate myself.
What started with a single book has grown into an entire series.
The more I write, the bigger my world becomes, so that one book is no longer enough to contain it all.
Last but not least, I would also like to mention my love of music.
My first words were not spoken, but sung!
Music is a big part of my life and I could never be without it.
In addition to singing, I also play the saxophone and piano.
Music is something to be shared, and I am delighted every time I can bring a smile to someone's face with it.
All the books in my series lean towards fantasy and are set in a fantastical world populated by extraordinary creatures, some of which you have never seen before!
My books are truly my passion project, and after years of work, the publication of the first volume is finally scheduled for this year.
But I won't reveal any more for now, so stay tuned. ;-)
Princess Luna - My Little Pony
I studied film production because I have always been fascinated by this subject.
From filming to sound recording to editing, I have done it all.
I have been editing videos for quite some time now, and it takes more time than some people might think.
Feel free to check out my YouTube channel, where I have uploaded several of my works and vlogs.
Another hobby of mine is Splatoon, which I play in tournaments.
Splatoon is an online multiplayer game where the goal is to cover more of the arena with ink than the opposing team.
I not only participate in tournaments, but also stream and commentate on official games of the German Splatoon Bundesliga and help with the organisation.
Through Splatoon, I also discovered streaming on Twitch, where I occasionally go live in the evenings and can enjoy a relaxing time.
